FAMILY FUN DAY "2008" – SATURDAY JULY 5, 2008 Get ready for a great late afternoon and evening experience - Family Fun Day 2008. On Saturday July 5th the Brigantine Family Fun Day 2008 will kick off with a Parade at 4:00 p.m. The parade will feature The Brigantine Brass, The Original Hobo Band, floats, bicycles, wagons and marching groups. When the parade arrives at the 26th Street Complex the fun and games begin. Family Fun Day will feature musical performances by The Firehouse Four and the Cole Brothers. We will also have local talent, clowns, magicians, amusement rides, pony rides, games of chance, plenty of items to purchase from local organizations and a lot of great food. The day will also include the Brigantine Children's Pet Show. The registration of animals will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the show starting at 6:30 p.m. A great day for the City of Brigantine!! BRIGANTINE BICYCLE RODEO - Saturday June 14, 2008 The Brigantine Police Department and The North School PTA will host the Annual Bicycle Rodeo at City Hall - 14th Street side parking lot from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. RAIN DATE: Sunday June 15th .
STEPHANIE BURKE BEACH RUN "2008" – Saturday June 21, 2008 The 9th Annual Stephanie Burke 5K Beach Run and 1 mile Fun Run/Walk will be held at 5:00 p.m. at 14th Street and the Beach on Saturday June 21, 2008. Race Day Registration will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. T-shirts to the first 100 pre-registered participants. Proceeds to benefit South Jersey Cancer Fund. LEARN TO SAIL – Tuesday July 1 & Thursday July 3 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Certified Brigantine Yacht Club Instructors will be onboard to teach the basics of recreational sailing to children ages 7 and up. BRIAN’S WALK “2008” – Saturday July 12, 2008The Annual Brian Woods Family Walk will be held on Saturday July 12, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church on 8th Street. Walk Day Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. Registration fee is $10.00 per person with a family rate of $25.00. The first 100 walkers registered will receive a BRIAN’S WALK T-shirt. Proceeds will benefit the Brian Woods Scholarship Fund. For information call 609-266-3323.
SUMMERFEST “2008” – Saturday July 26, 2008 The Brigantine Community Presbyterian Church will sponsor Summer Fest “2008” starting at 3:00 p.m. at the church grounds located on 15th Street. For information call the Church at 266-7942.

The swim for all Brigantine residents, City Employees and Aquatic Center members will be held on August 10, 2008 at the Brigantine Yacht Club, 1001 Bayshore Ave. and the Aquatic Center. Applications will be available starting in June at City Hall, City Dock, Beach Badge office, BCBP headquarters and the Aquatic Center. For additional information call 266-2471.
